Rules & Regulations
Last updated: 22 September 2026
How a bet is accepted, what limits apply, when it is settled, and when it is voided. These rules decide the outcome of your bets, so they are worth reading once properly.
1. How these rules work
These are the betting rules. They sit alongside the Terms & Conditions, which cover the account itself, deposits and withdrawals. Where a specific market carries its own rule shown on screen, that rule wins over the general rule here. Where nothing covers the situation, we settle on the official result of the event and on common betting practice.
The record that decides any question is the bet stored on our servers: the selection, the stake, the price and the timestamp on it. That is what we look at, not a screenshot of the odds screen.
2. When a bet exists
- A bet exists only after our system accepts it and returns a confirmation. If you do not see it in your open bets, it was not placed.
- Some markets apply a short acceptance delay before a bet is confirmed. During that delay the price can move or the market can be suspended, and the bet can be rejected. This is normal and applies to everyone on the market.
- You are settled at the price recorded on the confirmed bet. If the price moved between your tap and our acceptance, the recorded price is the one that counts.
- A bet cannot be cancelled by you once it is confirmed. Where a cash-out option is offered on a market, the amount shown is the offer at that instant and can change or disappear before you accept it.
- If your connection drops while placing a bet, check your open bets before placing it again. Placing it twice means two bets.
3. Market limits
Every market carries a minimum stake, a maximum stake per bet, and a maximum total exposure per market or per event. The figures in force for you are shown on the bet slip at the moment you stake. They are not the same on every market and they are not fixed forever: they depend on the market, on how much liquidity the market has, and on the limits set for your account.
- A bet above the maximum is rejected rather than partly accepted, unless the market explicitly offers partial matching.
- A bet below the minimum is rejected.
- Once your total exposure on a market reaches the maximum, further bets on that market are refused until some of it settles.
- We may lower limits on an account, or on a market, without notice, including where an account has been betting in a way covered by section 10.
Attempting to get around a market limit by splitting stakes across several accounts is treated as collusion. See section 10.
4. Settlement
Bets are settled on the official result declared by the governing body or event organiser for that event. We settle as soon as that result is available to us. Payouts land in your wallet automatically when the market settles, and every settlement is visible in your bet history and in your profit and loss pages.
- Live scores are not settlement. Scores, ball by ball data, statistics and streams come from third party feeds and are shown for information. If a feed is wrong, the official result still decides the bet.
- Resettlement. If a result is corrected or amended by the official source after we have settled, we resettle the affected bets to match it. That can mean money is taken back off an account as well as paid onto it.
- Mistaken settlement. If we settle a market on the wrong result or the wrong selection, we correct it. A payout you received because of our mistake is not yours to keep, and we will recover it. This applies equally when the mistake cost you money.
- Where a market has been settled and later voided under section 5, stakes are returned and any payout is reversed.
5. Void bets
A void bet means the stake is returned and the bet counts for nothing. A bet is voided where:
- the market was left open by mistake after the event, or the phase of play the market referred to, had already started or finished;
- the price was obviously wrong, for example a decimal point in the wrong place or a price that could not have been offered deliberately;
- the market itself was set up incorrectly, for example the wrong teams, the wrong line, or a selection that does not exist in the event;
- the score feed the market depended on reported the wrong figure and the market was priced off that figure;
- a technical failure on our side or a provider side meant the market could not be run or suspended properly;
- the event does not take place at all within the period described in section 6;
- the bet was placed with information about the result that was not publicly available, or by an account covered by section 10.
We void in these situations regardless of whether the error worked for you or against you. Where a whole market is voided, every bet on it is voided, including the ones that would have lost.
6. Abandoned, postponed and rescheduled events
- No official result: if a match is abandoned, called off or otherwise ends without an official result, markets on the outcome of that match are void and stakes are returned.
- Official result despite a shortened match: if the governing body declares a winner, for example on a revised target after rain, that result settles the match markets. The match was not abandoned, so bets stand.
- Postponed or rescheduled: if the event does not start at the scheduled time, markets remain open only while the event is expected to go ahead on the same day. If it is moved to another day or another venue that changes the nature of the event, markets are void and stakes are returned.
- Change of venue: a move to a neutral ground voids markets that depended on home advantage, for example a home or away market. Match outcome markets normally stand.
- Ties and dead heats: if a match is tied and the market offered no tie selection, the market is void. If the market offered a tie, it settles on the tie. A super over, bowl out or similar decider counts only where the market says the result includes it.
- Retirement and walkover: where a participant retires, withdraws or does not start, markets on that participant are void. Markets already decided before the retirement stand.
7. Cricket in particular
Most of our sports volume is cricket, so these are spelled out.
- Match Odds: settled on the official result. Void if the match is abandoned without a result, as in section 6.
- Bookmaker markets follow the same result as Match Odds unless the market description says otherwise.
- Toss: settled on which side wins the toss. If no toss takes place, the market is void. A toss that happens before an abandoned match still settles, because the toss itself had a result.
- Session, fancy and over markets settle only if the full phase of play they describe is completed. If an innings, a set number of overs, or a specific passage of play is not completed, the market is void. A completed session stays settled even if the match is later abandoned.
- Player markets are void if the named player does not take part, unless the market has already been decided.
- Advance markets placed before the match are void if the match itself is void, unless they describe something that has already happened.
- Reduced overs: where overs are reduced after a bet on a runs or overs market, the market is void unless the market states that it follows the revised number of overs.
- Extras: unless the market says otherwise, runs include all extras and penalty runs as recorded in the official scorecard.
8. Casino, live casino and instant games
- The result of a round is the result recorded by the game provider that ran it. That record is final and we settle from it.
- Games use random number generation or a live dealer. Past results do not influence future rounds, and no pattern in the history panel changes the odds of the next round.
- Disconnection: if you lose connection mid round, the round continues and completes on the provider side. Come back to the game to see the result. Your stake was already committed.
- Incomplete rounds: if a round cannot be completed because of a fault, the round is void and stakes on it are returned.
- Malfunction voids all plays. If a game pays out something the game rules do not allow, the affected rounds are void and any credit is reversed.
- Each game has its own rules and paytable, reachable from inside the game. Those rules govern that game.
9. Number and draw based games
- Bets close at the published closing time for that market. A bet submitted after close is rejected, and one accepted after close in error is void.
- Settlement follows the result declared for that market at its published result time. If no result is declared for a market, bets on it are void and stakes returned.
- A result corrected by the market source after declaration is resettled, as in section 4.
- Payout rates for each bet type are shown on the market before you stake. The rate shown at the time of the bet is the rate that applies.
10. Betting that breaks the rules
The following void the bets involved, and we may also recover money already paid and restrict or close the accounts:
- using more than one account, or betting through someone else;
- two or more accounts betting opposite sides of the same market to move a balance or clear a promotion;
- splitting stakes across accounts, devices or payment identities to beat a market limit;
- bots, scripts or automated placement, and any tool that reads our odds feed without permission;
- betting with knowledge of the result, including as a participant, official or anyone close to the event;
- using a delay between a live feed and a market, or a known fault in a market, as the basis for bets.
11. If you think a settlement is wrong
Raise it through the help centre or by email to support@example.com. Give your username, the bet reference from your bet history, and the result you believe is correct with a source for it.
Do it within 30 days of the settlement. After that the match data we need to check it may no longer be available to us. We will tell you what the record shows and what we have done about it.
12. Changes to these rules
We update these rules as markets change. The date at the top of the page tells you which version you are reading. A bet is judged against the rules in force when it was placed.
