Exclusion Policy
Last updated: 22 September 2026
If you want to stop betting on MahadevBook, either for a few hours or for good, this is how it works and what it does to your account.
1. Two different things
We offer two ways to shut yourself out. They are not the same and it is worth understanding the difference before you pick one.
- Cool-off is a short break of 1, 6 or 24 hours. It ends by itself and you are back in without contacting anyone.
- Self-exclusion is a longer block of 1 day, 7 days, 30 days or permanent. You cannot reverse it from your own account. Only an administrator can lift it.
Both are in Settings, under the Responsible tab. Both are free and neither requires a reason.
2. Cool-off
- You choose 1 hour, 6 hours or 24 hours.
- You are signed out straight away, on every device where you were signed in.
- Sign-in and betting are blocked for the whole period.
- When the time is up, access returns automatically. There is nothing to ask for and nothing to wait on.
- Choosing a cool-off while a longer break is already running does not shorten the longer one. See section 5.
A cool-off is the right tool for a bad session. It is the wrong tool if you already know the problem is bigger than tonight.
3. Self-exclusion
- You choose 1 day, 7 days, 30 days or permanent.
- You are signed out straight away and sign-in is blocked for the whole period.
- You cannot place a bet, and you cannot lift the block yourself.
- Only an administrator can lift a self-exclusion.Support cannot do it for you as a favour, and we do not treat regretting it as a reason to remove it. That is the entire point of the tool: it has to still be there when you change your mind.
- Permanent means there is no date to wait for. The account stays shut unless an administrator reopens it, and we do not reopen a permanent exclusion on request as a matter of course.
Before you choose permanent, be aware it is meant to be final. If you want a firm break but not a final one, 30 days is the option to pick.
4. How to set one
- Open Settings and go to the Responsible tab.
- For a short break, use Take a break (cool-off) and pick 1, 6 or 24 hours.
- For a longer block, use Self-exclusion and pick 1 day, 7 days, 30 days or permanent.
- Confirm. You are signed out immediately, and the account shows how long is left if you land on the sign-in page.
If you cannot reach Settings for any reason, ask the help centre or email support@example.com and tell us the length you want. We will set it for you.
5. A longer break is never shortened by a shorter one
If a break is already running and you choose a shorter one, the longer one stays in force. Someone who self-excluded for 30 days and then tries a 1 hour cool-off is still out for the remaining 30 days.
Choosing a longer break while one is running does extend it. You can always make a block stronger, never weaker.
6. Your money
- Your withdrawable balance stays yours. Exclusion is not a forfeit. Ask the help centre and we will pay out the withdrawable balance to your registered account, subject to the usual identity and payment checks in the Terms & Conditions.
- Open bets settle normally. A bet placed before the break is not voided by the break. It settles when the market settles, and any winnings go to your wallet where you can withdraw them.
- Bonus balance is not withdrawable and does not survive a payout request. Requesting a withdrawal clears any remaining bonus funds from the account. That is how bonus money works here generally, not something we do because of the exclusion. See Promotions.
- Pending rewards need claiming before you go, where they are claimable at all. Anything with a claim window keeps running to its own timetable and we do not extend it because an account is excluded.
If you want the balance paid out, say so in the same message as the exclusion request. It saves a round trip while you cannot sign in.
7. What we stop doing
- We stop sending you marketing and promotional messages.
- We stop accepting deposits on the account.
- We stop accepting bets on the account.
- We will still send you anything we have to send about money already in the account, such as a payout confirmation.
8. Opening another account while excluded
Do not do it. An exclusion applies to you, not only to the username you used. A new account opened by the same person while an exclusion is running will be closed when we find it, and we may void bets placed on it because it should never have existed.
That includes an account opened with a different mobile number, a different email, or a family member's payment details. Using someone else's details also breaks section 2 of the Terms & Conditions.
If you have realised you cannot stop opening accounts, that is the clearest possible sign to call the helpline in section 10 today.
9. Records
We keep a record that an exclusion was set, and for how long. We do not delete exclusion records when someone asks us to delete their data, because deleting the record would let the excluded account be reopened, which is exactly what the exclusion exists to prevent. This is set out in section 5 of the Privacy Policy.
10. Blocking more than this site
A self-exclusion here only covers this site. If you want a wider block:
- Ask your bank or payment app to block gambling transactions on your account. This works across every site and is usually the most effective single step.
- Install blocking software on your phone and computer to stop gambling sites loading, and let someone else hold the password for it.
- Remove the app from your phone and delete saved cards and UPI shortcuts, so restarting takes effort rather than one tap.
For support with gambling harm in India, AASRA runs a free 24 hour helpline on 1800-599-0019. More on this in Responsible Gambling.
11. Changes to this policy
The date at the top of the page shows the version you are reading. A change here does not weaken an exclusion that is already running.
